The U.S. Secretary of Defense, James Mattis, recently visited the Tri-Cities to speak with veterans who currently work for the Department of Energy. Prep graduate, Catherine Jacobs, who is currently finishing her senior year at the University of Portland, was invited to sing the National Anthem for the secretary and audience.
