From the President of Tri-Cities Prep

Dear Tri-Cities Prep Community,

I am pleased to announce some changes that will hopefully bring excitement and anticipation to our Prep community. If you have not taken the time to visit our new website, tcprep.org, I invite you to take a look at what I hope will become a frequent website for you to visit. I would like to thank Ines Geist, Nick Cameron, Dr. Arcia, Melanie DeSmet and Kim Bowen for their help in making this goal a reality. Our new website is something we can truly be proud of.
I am also pleased to announce that our former Manager of Institutional Advancement, Keri Escalera, is now the Director of Enrollment and Communications at Tri-Cities Prep. With renewed focus in enrollment, our hope is that we continue to see a growth in the number of students who attend Tri-Cities Prep. This year we welcome forty-five new freshmen students and their families to Tri-Cities Prep. We also welcome two students from the foreign exchange student program. One student is from Germany and the other from New Zealand. We also have three new students from China who will be living with families whose children attend Prep. These students have the unique opportunity to live with an American family for up to four years while receiving a wonderful education at Tri-Cities Prep. The opportunity for Prep students to learn about other cultures is one that is not only worthwhile but fun as well.
This summer we said goodbye to three wonderful and dedicated board members: Marc Nelson, Peter Turping and Steve Potter. I would like to thank them for their dedication, service, and commitment to Tri-Cities Prep. They gave of their time, talent and treasure and for that we are truly grateful. As we said goodbye, we also said welcome to two new board members: Katy Moore and Lance Amato. Again, we are grateful for their willingness to serve on the board and look forward to their input and service to the Board of Directors. With the new Chair of the Board, David Geist and Vice-Chair, Kevin Ghirardo, I know that the Board will continue to make sure that the mission of Tri-Cities Prep is being served.
As always, I am so happy to be among the wonderful faculty, staff and administration at Tri-Cities Prep, but I am equally happy to be among these incredible young men and women. Each time I walk among them in the halls of Prep, I am reminded that what we have here is special and worthwhile. Thank you for choosing Tri-Cities Prep. Thank you for entrusting your child to our care. I look forward to this year, I look forward to the accomplishments yet to come from our students and I look forward to meeting those of you in this wonderful Prep community.

Sincerely,
Lisa Jacobs
President
