Dear Friends of Tri-Cities Prep:

A few weeks ago, I met with a group of our school staff members. Most of our conversation revolved around school events and logistics, but one aspect in particular resonated with me: when our staff speaks about our students, we call them by their first names with no further explanation necessary. Our staff really knows our kids. When our students walk through the doors in the morning, our staff knows if they’re having a bad day by the time they’ve reached the end of the hallway.  The roller coaster of the high school years can be so complicated for students. Prep creates stability with a support system of people who call them by name, try to understand their needs, celebrate their strengths, and hold them accountable. Our students, arguably at the most influential time in their formation, are offered this love and consistency every day at school.

As Prep grows, our needs grow. Yes, more students generate more tuition income. But growth also creates more overhead and the need for more classrooms, lockers, desks, electricity, teachers, technology, support staff, and the list goes on. As we take on new capital projects to accommodate our growth, our financial needs to support operations are even greater.

If you’re already a loyal supporter, thank you. We ask that you take a look at the amount you’re giving and possibly increase it by 5-10%. If you’re not currently giving, we ask that you take a look at your budget and see if you can contribute any amount. Whether it’s $25 or $1000, monthly giving or lump sum, every dollar given is cherished. As is the case with most Catholic schools, we pride ourselves on doing more with less, constantly fine-tuning our budget to get the most out of every dollar we receive. You can either mail a check, click the donate link below, or give me a call at (509) 546-2465 and we can set up a giving plan that works for you.

It is an honor and privilege to work with the staff, students, and supporters of Tri-Cities Prep. Thank you for making our school a reality. God bless you, and Merry Christmas!

In Christ,

Katie Nelson
