Tri-Cities Prep High School was founded in 1994 as a private, independent, co-educational school approved by the bishops of both the Spokane and Yakima Dioceses. Prep welcomed its first class of twenty students in August 1998. It is fully approved by the State of Washington and the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

This month’s Career Panel featured careers in law- Attorney Mariah Lujano, TCP grad. Judge Norma Rodriguez. Attorney Brian Roach, TCP parent. 👩🏽⚖️ The panel shared some great messages: “If you are called to serve your community, you will very quickly grow out of your shyness and learn how to step up to represent those who need you.” Also, “Being an attorney in the Tri-Cities area is a unique chance to serve others in a lucrative field where the law community is very cooperative, rather than the cutthroat culture of many big cities.” Thank you to our participants. There’s something powerful about watching students tackle Algebra 2 together 📐 When they collaborate to solve complex equations, factor polynomials, or work through word problems, the learning goes deeper than just finding the right answer. ✨ Why group teamwork in Algebra 2 matters:
• Students explain their thinking out loud — which strengthens understanding.
• They learn different problem-solving strategies from their peers.
• Confidence grows when they realize, “We figured this out!”
• Mistakes become learning moments, not roadblocks.
